THE PATH OF REVERENCE
“The Path of reverence” is a felted heart that pulsates with the essence of emotional intimacy and profound self-awareness, a tangible reflection of the intricate dance between intention and feeling as elucidated in Gary Zukav’s book, “The Seat of The Soul”.”
Embedded within the fibres of this anatomical heart beets the wisdom encapsulated in Zukav’s words: “If we are not intimate with emotions, we cannot perceive the dynamics that lie behind emotions, the way that these dynamics work, and the ends that they serve.” Each finer represents the currents of energy coursing through us, embodying the raw essence of our emotional landscape.
Reverence, as Zukav posits, transcends mere emotion; it is a profound way of being. Yet, it is through the hearts labyrinthine passages, navigated with acute emotional awareness, that the gates to reverence are unlocked.” Without an awareness of your emotions,” Zukav reminds us, “you are not able to experience reverence.” Thus, “The Path of Reverence” stands as an estimate to the transformative power of emotional intimacy, guiding the beholder towards the sacred terrain of heart, where reverence blossoms in all its radiant splendour.

The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break." The piece beautifully encapsulates the idea of destiny, connection, and the enduring power of love and fate.
The background of the piece is a textured landscape, created from felted merino wool and mulberry paper. The combination of these materials suggests the interwoven nature of life, fragile yet enduring, just as the invisible thread connects people across time and space.
